Still alive. Feeling much more human other than the whole coughed myself to feeling like I've been beaten with a baseball bat and the usual sleep issues. I'm shooting for getting comments and email caught up tomorrow evening.

Playing catch up as I can around here with everything, mama sick=everything goes to hell, nothing gets done. Nothing all that surprising or atypical about that. It's a law of the universe everywhere. ~snorts~

The prompts have all been saved and a few of them are definitely eventually being ficlets *knock on wood* what other curveballs rl decides to throw permitting. Right now though I actually get to go to bed within half hour here. so yay. I'm beat.

I am sicker than dog (though better than yesterday) bruised achy from coughing twitchy from decongestants and albuterol (er yeah, bronchitis/pnumonia) too med-wired to sleep restless...so prompts? Can't breathe without the decongestans & albuterol, can't rest with them for shit.

Artist/Author babble: Here's the page I promised. ^_^ It's a stand-alone page for Sebastian and Dirk's backstory, and the Important Things you need to know for it is that they're not fighting in, for, or against their own kingdom, and that Dirk wasn't in charge of the standard(flag) at the start of the battle. (and that Sebastian 's technically overstepping his own authority, but that's why they call it a promotion.)

It's really dang nice to work in colour again, after all that B&W(not that I don't love the regular pages), but on the other hand doing every page in colour would be insane and slow the update schedule, so no. Still, colour! XD

I really like how Bastian and Dirk came out, their squad is okay, the background is satisfactory, and I need more practice drawing crowd scenes. XD; On the other hand, this may be the most people I'be drawn (or implied) in a single picture at once, at least so far, so yay for expanding artistic horizons. ^_^

Amusement of the day... Dumb dog crashed out on floor in front of heat vent. Really soundly crashed out. Invaders thought Dog looked like warm comfy spot for nap. Dog wakes up with three kittens on her. Freaks out flies in air and runs off yelping under girl's bed. Yes, I'm easily amused and I take what I can get. Dog is pouting & terrified yet. Kittens were completely unfazed and ran around in circles tussling til it was naptime again and crashed out on top of CookieCat.

Almost as good as yesterdays "Oh no! Cold Feet!" Aburptly in middle of raging meltdown.

Gotta laugh or you'll lose your mind.

Also. K1 came home with basically the whole crotch of his jeans duct tape repaired. Ripped out along inner seam playing dodge ball...~shakes head~ nope didn't get a email or anything he needed different pants, just as well I have been zombie and laid down a bit with prince meltdown after hub left for work. So honest, probably would have missed it, but they ddin't send one.(phone is next to never actually plugged into jack. Is one of Mr.Boo's things that have hit fuck it not dealing w/ the freakout and problem, phone up on high shelf til I need to make call) Duct tape. Even funnier, the PE teacher's a woman, sorry but duct tape the jeans is a guy sort of solution to my mind. (classes were all screwed up today with Vets day Assembly so they had twenty minute PE they didn't change for...just goofin around in gym.

Writing? Yeah uh huh well that's...not going much. Drunk bordering on hungover level of exhasted, decongestants buzz keeping me wide awake and all clogged up and hacking. I'm pulling off awake and with it enough to keep the house from falling down and that's about at.

*dances happy dance*

25 thousand words has been broken.

Only by 13 words, but it means I'm halfway there. *happy dances more*

K1: I'm bored.
Me: Read a book
K1: *gives me unamused look* The only thing I haven't read that looks remotely interesting is (Girl's) stupid sparkly vampire books.
Girl: THey're not stupid! They're good!

Dog: *has freakout. Kittens climbing everywhere* *they can climb up on furniture now* *freaks more* *flees to girl's bed to whine and be terrified*



Kittens: *sulking w/ wet heads.* ( Some sort of demented follow the leader checking out the water dish. Which these guys are teeny cause they started out extra small. Side of waterdish is only about 3 inches high. They have to put their paws up on side and lean over into it. And went splat nosediving into water. One after the other in the course of about half hour.)
